Dr. Jerry Cao was born and raised in Friendswood, TX. He graduated from Friendswood High School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Health from the University of Houston. He continued his studies at the University of Houston College of Optometry where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree.

He completed his clinical rotation sites in Dallas and Houston, Texas, which emphasized ocular disease treatment, cataract evaluations, post operative cataract care, LASIK evaluations and post operative LASIK care. He also enjoys giving comprehensive eye and contact lens examinations.

In his spare time, Dr. Cao loves to spend his time with his wife and son. Some of his hobbies include photography, the guitar, and fitness.
